Awarded!

Sooooooo...I kinda feel bad for being kinda MIA last week....but...Starrla Monae awarded me this Honest Scrap

and Alicia at Instant Vintage awarded me these two awards....all in the same week...so, I feel pretty cool.

Thank you ladies! For the Honest Scrap, I have to say 10 honest things about me. For the Beautiful Blogger award, I have to say 7 interesting things about me. So.....how about I say 10 honest things, 7 of them, I will try to make interesting..Ok, Go!

1. I'm obsessed with left-handed people. My mother and brother are left-handed. Growing up, I tried to make myself ambi-dexterous but umm, yea, didn't work.

2. My friends can tell me anything because I really try very hard not to judge them or anyone really.

3. I have a million gay friends and when I had my long weave (18 inches), I would hang out with them with the whole bit (long hair, make-up, heels, outfit) and some people would think I was a tranny. Some people said it was because I looked too perfect. Others said it was the cheekbones...I was never offended because trannies are awesome.

4. I don't have a New York accent. Some people say I don't sound like I'm from anywhere.

5. I am an avid crime-show watcher. CSI (all of them), NCIS (even LA because I laugh at LL Cool J trying to be serious and not lick his lips 10,000 times in an episode), Law & Order (all but SVU because it hurts my soul), Criminal Minds, Cold Case, Snapped....I've never seen a crime show I didn't like. With this said, I think I could kill a person and not get caught. (not that I would do it...just saying...)

6. I didn't begin to have a healthy self esteem until I was about 16. It was in ICU until I was

about 19. By 21, I was in remission.

7. I'm a shy person. NO one ever believes me when I say this but it is true. If I push myself...I'll be out there. But.....most of the time, I don't.

8. To boost my self-esteem or get amped to go out, I listen to Kanye's "Graduation" album, Jay-Z's "American Gangster" album or Biggie. I feel invincible listening to rap.

9. I used to speak fluent Spanish until high school. Use it or lose it is real folks.

10. I've had to choose between buying clothes or make-up. Make-up won out. I've also had to choose between buying make-up or food. Make-up won. The life of a free-lancer or make-up junkie. Whatever I blame it on at the moment.
